Heveningham Hall fireworks near Halesworth cancelled for 2023 due to recent bad weather

Another of Suffolk’s major firework displays will not go ahead in 2023, after event organisers cancelled it due to recent weather conditions.

In a statement, the team behind Heveningham Hall Fireworks near Halesworth said ‘despite meticulous planning’ and their ‘greatest efforts’ they have made the difficult decision to cancel the display.

They explained: “The recent bad weather has caused widespread issues and although we understand this is disappointing news, our first priority is keeping guests, volunteers and staff safe.”

Last week the organisers of the popular fireworks in the Abbey Gardens, in Bury St Edmunds, confirmed they would not be going ahead in 2023.

Anyone with tickets for the Heveningham Hall Fireworks will be refunded in full in the coming days.

The display was due to take place on Saturday, November 4.
