Water supply restored in Framlingham, Halesworth, Saxtead and Dennington after Essex and Suffolk Water Care fix burst water main

Water has been restored to hundreds of homes and businesses across Suffolk – with some left without a supply for more than 12 hours.

Customers in Framlingham, Halesworth, Saxtead and Dennington were all affected by the water shortage which was caused by a burst water main.

Yesterday, Essex and Suffolk Water Care handed out free bottles of water in the car park of the Co-op in Halesworth and delivered water to those on its priority services register.
