Hundreds of homes in Suffolk including Framlingham and Halesworth without water due to burst water main





Hundreds of homes in Suffolk are without water today due to a burst water main.

People living in Framlingham, Halesworth, Dennington and Saxtead may be experiencing no water or low water pressure.

A spokesperson for Essex and Suffolk Water said their teams had been working through the night to repair the burst water main, near Walpole Water Treatment Works.

On social media, a spokesperson said: "Due to the location, this is proving a difficult operation in challenging conditions, with sub-zero temperatures, but we hope to complete the repair soon.

"Our teams are working hard to get the situation resolved as soon as we can."

It is currently not known when the water will return.
