Man in 50s in critical condition after A1094 Farnham Road at Snape, near Framlingham and Aldeburgh, crash between van and motorcycle




A man in his 50s is in a critical condition after a crash between a van and a motorcyclist yesterday.

Police and the ambulance services were called to the A1094 Farnham Road at Snape, near Framlingham and Aldeburgh, at around 7am yesterday after the collision between a Toyota Hiace and a motorbike.

The man in his 50s, who was the motorcyclist, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

A boy in his late teens, a passenger in the van, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists that were driving in the area at the time who may have dashcam footage to get in touch.
