Man arrested after Main Road, Kelsale, near Framlingham, crash on suspicion of drink-driving

A man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving yesterday after police received reports of a collision.

Officers were called to the crash in the vicinity of Main Road, Kelsale, near Framlingham, just after 6pm.

Police attended and subsequently located a suspect who failed a breath test.

The man was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

He was released under investigation pending further inquiries.
