Emus were found roaming the streets of Hadleigh again today.
Suffolk Rural, Wildlife and Heritage Policing took to X at 3.04pm saying it had received another report that three emus had made a break from their enclosure.
It said they were roaming nearby streets.
Police ‘swiftly located’ the birds and, after discussion with their owner, it was decided they would be signed over to an experienced keeper to care for them from now.
The keeper has collected the birds and they have now joined another emu and a variety of other animals at the ‘spacious rural smallholding’.
