Hadleigh United boss Steve Holder to take a break from managing Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division club
Hadleigh United have announced their manager Steve Holder will be taking a break due to health reasons.
The Brettsiders currently sit second in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division table, and trail leaders Thetford Town by just three points after going on a recent eight game winning run.
After seeing that run of victories come to an end with a 3-2 defeat at Fakenham Town last weekend, Holder's Hadleigh bounced back with an 8-0 thrashing over Whitton United in the Thurlow Nunn League Challenge Cup on Tuesday night.
Holder will now spend some time away from the dugout, with Ben Elliott and Liam Scopes stepping up to take charge of their home clash with Walsham-le-Willows this Saturday (3pm).
The club posted on Twitter: 'Steve Holder will be taking a break for a few weeks. After falling ill after last night's game and not feeling well over the last few weeks he has taken the decision to have some time off.
'Ben Elliott and Liam Scopes will take charge. We wish him a speedy recovery.'
