Hadleigh assault in High Street sees man suffer injuries to hands, legs and head
A man has been injured after being assaulted in Hadleigh over the weekend.
Officers revealed the victim was walking down High Street, near the Little Ginger Bee Company shop, on Saturday, when he was hit from behind by another man.
This caused him to fall to the ground, where he was then punched on the side of the head.
The incident resulted in the victim suffering injuries to his hands, legs and head.
The alleged culprit reportedly drove off down Bridge Street in a dark blue Peugeot car.
He was described as white, about 25 years old, with short ginger hair and wearing a grey tracksuit.
Officers are appealing for information or witnesses after the assault.
