Driver caught speeding in Ellen Aldous Avenue, Hadleigh, after concerns raised by resident

Suffolk Police caught a driver exceeding the limit at a speeding hotspot following a resident’s concerns.

The motorist was driving at 50mph this morning in Ellen Aldous Avenue, Hadleigh, which is a 30mph zone.

They were given a traffic offence report and have been reported to Suffolk Magistrates' Court.

The officer was alerted to the speeding issues in the road after a resident raised the concern at a police engagement event.
