Recovery arranged for car trapped in Rectory Lane, off of Ash Street, near Hadleigh, ford





Recovery has been arranged for a vehicle submerged up to its roof in a ford.

Three crews from the fire service were called to the ford in Rectory Lane, just before the junction with Ash Street, near Hadleigh, where a car is trapped in water four and a half feet deep, at around 11.30am.

It is believed the vehicle had been there since yesterday.

Police were also made aware, with officers locating the owner of the vehicle.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said recovery for the vehicle would be carried out today.
