A day to remember at the palace for Haverhill businesswoman

Sarah Howard and her family had a day to rival any other on Tuesday when she received her MBE from The Queen.

Joined by her husband Andy, daughters Katie and Rhiannon and son Oscar, Mrs Howard, who lives in Sturmer, went to Buckingham Palace to receive the award.

She was made an MBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list in June for her services to the community in Haverhill.

As well as being the chairman of ONE Haverhill, she has also been chairman of the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, is president of the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and chairman of Abbeycroft Leisure.
