Haverhill mother and son feature in new charity Christmas song

A musical collective involving performers from Haverhill and Stradishall hopes that the forthcoming release of its new charity single will top the charts at Christmas.

I Am One With You, the new single from Peace On Your Plate, is out on December 16.

Having reached number five in the Amazon download chart on their last attempt at a Christmas number one in 2019, the group is back to spread vibes of peace and unity whilst raising money for charity Vegan Organic Network.

I Am One With You was written by band member, Stradishall-based Giles Bryant. His wife Juliette is also in the band, while the single also features Haverhill residents Shannon Dilks and her son Noah, two.

Giles said: “With so much division in the world, music is a tool that can bring people together, build bridges and help create peace and unity.

“As a songwriter and music producer my aim is to create music that is healing to people and the planet.

“Bringing musicians and singers from around the world together (including Ukraine and Russia) for our charity Christmas song, I Am One With You, has been a powerful experience.

“I hope when people hear the song, it will help bring peace and unity, and as the chorus says, help people know the truth of Christmas, that ‘love will shine a way’.”

Alongside stellar performances by Peace On Your Plate band-members, the song features a global orchestra and worldwide choir.

It is a powerful moment to hear a violinist from Russia join with a Ukrainian singer – backed by a world-wide band – expressing peace and unity through music.

The track was recorded at various music studios around the world and produced by Giles (The Perpetual Choirs) and mastered by Christian Wright (Ed Sheeran, Blur, Radiohead) at the famous Abbey Road Studios.

Vegan Organic Network’s mission is to have clean rivers and oceans, healthy soil and food through adopting veganic growing, a sustainable method that creates abundance without the use of chemicals or stock animal inputs.

A video to accompany the song will be released at the same time as the single.
