Car collides with telephone pole on Queen Street in Withersfield, near Haverhill




A car has collided with a telephone pole on a road in a Suffolk village.

Officers were called at 8.01am to the incident in Queen Street, Withersfield, near Haverhill.

A Suffolk Police spokesperson said the car crashed into a telephone pole with cable and left debris in the road.

The road was not closed and there are not believed to be any injuries.

Another incident near Haverhill this morning has resulted in traffic lights being put in place on the A143 in Barnardiston, just before the junction with Water Lane.
