Pats Café in Haverhill Raymond Court to close as costs 'spiral out of control'

A Haverhill Café is set to close and owners have revealed rising costs are to blame.

Pats Café in Raymond Court off Piperell Way will be open for the final day of trading this Friday.

Posting on Facebook, the owner said: "It is with the heaviest of hearts I announce the closure of my lovely café.

"Friday 10th March will be my last day trading. Due to increased costs spiralling out of control I can no longer trade with affordable pricing I know you all have come to enjoy.

"Thank you for your custom and I hope to see you all Thursday or Friday this week," they added.

The café offers dine-in or take away food and drinks, including full English breakfasts, breakfast baguettes and ham, egg and chips.
