New fence at Haverhill pre-school will help more dreams come true
A new secure fence has been installed at a Haverhill pre-school with the help and support of town councillors.
Parents and families also supported the fund-raising, although Covid-19 limited the amount of events that can take place this year.
Castle Fields Pre-school also successfully applied to the town council for funding to replace the wooden fence.
“This couldn’t have happened without the funding from our local councillors, they have been a tremendous support and this new fence has made a huge difference to the setting.
“It’s not only about security but the chance to offer our children the opportunity to develop a new allotment and wildlife area is a dream come true,” said setting manager Charis Newton
The pre-school has plans to develop areas of its garden into an allotment, and an area to encourage wild plants to grow and offer opportunities for forest school type activities.
