Fire crews from Clare, Haverhill and Wickhambrook called to three separate cell fires at HMP Highpoint in just over 24 hours

Fire crews were called to three cell fires at a Suffolk prison in the space of just over 24 hours.
Engines from Clare, Haverhill and Wickhambrook were dispatched to each incident at HMP Highpoint, in Stradishall.
The first was at 9pm on Wednesday night, the second at 7.25pm last night and the third at 10.51pm last night.
All three fires were out on the arrival of crews, with no action required from firefighters on any of the incidents.
Police were also made aware.
Highpoint is a category C prison, with inmates serving up to and including life sentences.
