Today, his sister has posted details of his funeral, which will take place next Wednesday at St Mary's church in the town, on social media.

She said the service and wake will be private and those invited have been contacted already by the family, and urged others to respect this.

"However, if haven’t been invited and wish to pay your respects, we have arranged for the market square to be used as a space for people to gather during this time.
