Future employment opportunities at Haverhill Business Park look likely to be plentiful after it was revealed that it has just one plot left unsold.

Developed by Taurus for owners Hammond Rutts Investments, Haverhill Business Park is a fully serviced site with the option for occupiers to build-to-suit.

Recent sales at the park include two approximately one acre sites, one to Stowmarket Skips Ltd, trading as SunSkips, and one to the Pi Hut, both of which are now building out their own units.

And the only plot still up for grabs measures 3.91 acres, sits opposite the Travelodge Hotel on Phoenix Way and is available as a freehold or leasehold, with the opportunity to develop units to suit the occupier's needs, up to about 73,000 sqft.

The site also has planning permission for light industrial/industrial and special industrial uses (B1/B2/B8) and is being jointly marketed by Cheffins and Strettons, which are now taking expressions of interest.

Philip Woolner, joint managing partner at Cheffins said: “This is one of very few commercial development land opportunities to come to the local market in recent months and is a unique chance for a wide range of occupier types to build out accommodation exactly according to their individual needs.

"Demand for large-scale office, industrial and retail accommodation in the local area continues to grow and Haverhill Business Park, as an established commercial location, is well placed to meet it. Haverhill is set to grow significantly as part of the ONE Haverhill master plan which will include an additional 3,500 new homes to be delivered by 2031.”

Michael Gibbens, from Taurus Developments added: “The latest land sales at the park follow the success in recent years by Hammond Rutts and Taurus in developing a bespoke facility for MKM Building Supplies which resulted in a new rental level for the park and a subsequent investment sale of the building in 2018.

"This was followed by the disposal of 14 acres of land in 2019 at a higher level than previously seen at the location.

"These deals, combined with the latest land sales, go to demonstrate the attributes of Haverhill Business Park as a well-located and recognised business location.”
