Preparatory work has begun on new industrial complex in Haverhill

Work has commenced on a 14 acre development of five industrial units at Haverhill Business Park.

McCoy Contractors Limited have been appointed as specialist groundworks contractor by Trebor Developments and partner, Hillwood and will be on site until March 2020, followed by the main contractor, A&H Construction, who will build the units.

Trebor and Hillwood are investing over £30 million in the site in order to deliver a range of industrial units.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner of Trebor Developments, on behalf of the partners, said: "We are delighted to commence on site. “The Ridge” is a very significant investment in the Eastern area, which we believe will attract a wide range of local occupiers to this premier location, which already hosts Culina Logistics and MKM Building Supplies.

"The units will be the only quality new build industrial of their sizes within a 50 mile radius of Haverhill and offered at a considerable discount to rents in the Cambridge market.”

Units will be available for occupation from about next July onwards.
