Police appeal for the victim of a suspected knifepoint robbery in Haverhill to come forward
Police are keen to speak to the victim of what is thought to have been a knifepoint robbery in Haverhill.
The person reported to police that a male threatened another male with a knife outside the Tesco store in Cangle Road at about 4pm on Sunday, May 12 .
The male then handed him something and the offender fled the scene on a BMX bicycle in the direction of Queen Street.
The offender is described as white, with black or dark hair, wearing shorts and a football top and aged about 17-years-old.
Enquiries are on-going to establish if a robbery has taken place and officers are keen to speak to the unknown victim to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
