A performing arts school has provided a touch of drama for free to get 12 to 19-year-olds interested in the arts this week.

The Mayes School of Performing Arts, which is based at Castle Manor Academy, hosted the second of their free workshops at Simmo’s Playzone, in Boundary Road, on Monday.

Lee Mayes, school director, said: “It was a very good workshop and we were really excited to give something back to the community.”
