Man threatened with knife during attempted robbery in Haverhill

Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery in Haverhill.

It took place on Thursday, September 19 just after 8pm on Camps Road.

A male jumped out of the bushes on the edge of the recreation ground and pointed a knife at the victim while demanding money.

The victim, aged 25, refused and ran off. He was unhurt.

The suspect is described as about 5ft 10in tall, in his late 30s, with a short beard and was wearing a dark hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms.
