Man armed with screwdriver steals cash from Haverhill newsagent
A man armed with a screwdriver stole cash from a newsagent in Haverhill.
The man, believed to be in his early 20s, demanded staff open the till at the McColls newsagent, in the High Street, at 7.30am today.
He fled on foot with a quantity of cash.
No-one was injured in the incident.
The man was described as white, about 5ft 6ins in height and of slim build.
He was wearing dark bottoms and a white hooded coat, with dark sleeves.
