Man arrested after police called to dispute between group of people in Haverhill




A man was arrested after police were called to a dispute between a group of people in Haverhill at the weekend.

Police were alerted to a dispute between a group of people known to each other, in Howard Close, at about 4.30pm on Sunday.

A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon and assault.

He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

The man was later released under investigation.
