Pair arrested in connection with Haverhill thefts from vehicles in Chalkstone and Chimsewell estates

LEARN MORETwo men have been arrested in connection with a series of thefts from vehicles in Haverhill.
This follows a spate of incidents reported to Suffolk Police in the Chalkstone, Chimsewell and Bird estates and in the Arrendene Road area over the last month.
Items were stolen from vehicles in these thefts including cash and clothes.
This morning two Haverhill men, a 48-year-old and a 51-year-old, were arrested in connection with the crime spree.
The pair have been taken to Bury Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Police have reminded motorists to remove all valuables from vehicles, ensure they are locked and secure and to park in well-lit places.
