Pedestrian suffers serious injuries in collision on A1307 in Haverhill and in critical condition at Addenbrooke's Hospital
A pedestrian has been taken to hospital and is in critical condition following a collision with a car in a Suffolk town.
Police were called just after 8.35pm yesterday to reports of a collision between a Fiat Punto and a pedestrian at Withersfield Road on the A1307 in Haverhill.
The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital by ambulance where he remains in critical condition.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and ask any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review their footage.
