A primary school has been closed today due to a suspected gas leak.

Coupals Primary Academy in Haverhill tweeted this morning that the school is closed 'due to unforeseen circumstances'.

A parent told SuffolkNews the closure was because of a suspected gas leak.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are closing the school today (Tuesday 17th January). We will share updates later in the day regarding Wednesday 18th January.
