A1307 Cambridge Road reopens after crash in Linton near Haverhill

A busy road was closed following a serious crash earlier this morning.

Emergency services were called to the A1307 Cambridge Road in Linton, near Haverhill, at the Hildersham turn off to B1052 High Street.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police confirmed that officers are at the scene.

Motorists were being advised to seek alternative routes while the eastbound carriageway was closed heading towards Haverhill.

The road reopened at 10am.

The police are searching for a driver involved in the incident.
