There is a chance to question East of England Ambulance Service Trust staff and learn about the service at a public meeting next week.

The ‘stakeholder event’, jointly hosted by Healthwatch Suffolk, will be at the John Peel Centre, in Stowmarket, on Wednesday from 10am to 3pm.

A range of speakers, exhibitions and information stands from EEAST will be available to explain its plans for the future. This is also an opportunity for people to quiz ambulance bosses.

Sotu Marshall-Wyer, EEAST patient and public involvement manager, said: “This is a great opportunity to speak with our staff and volunteers face-to-face and tell us about how we are doing and what we need to do to improve.

“We’re also looking forward to what will be an ideal opportunity to network with key people in Suffolk.”

The day will include presentations about how the Trust plans to improve patient care and an insight into the work of its community first responders, Trust User Group and Hazardous Area Response Team.
