Two teenagers arrested after dog walkers threatened in two separate incidents by Newt Pond, near School Lane, Haverhill




Two teenagers have been arrested after dog walkers were threatened in two separate incidents.

At noon and 2pm on Saturday, January 25, the two youths, aged between 11 and 15, approached the dog walkers by Newt Pond near School Lane, Haverhill.

They were both wearing balaclavas and riding an e-scooter.

In both incidents, it is reported the teenagers threatened the two male victims and, when challenged, one of the boys showed what was described as a knife.

No one was hurt, but in the second incident, the victim was pushed into a bush.

Yesterday, police arrested two teenage boys in connection with the incidents.

They were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre to be questioned by officers.

The two boys have been bailed to return to police on March 17.
