Spate of car break-ins committed on a Haverhill housing estate




Three vehicles on neighbouring streets on a Haverhill housing estate had their windows smashed while being broken into on the same night.

All of the offences on the Chalkstone estate happened between the end of Saturday, April 25 and the break of day on Sunday.

A vehicle parked on Chedburgh Place had a small window smashed to gain entry. A search was made, although nothing was stolen. The crime reference is 37/23176/20.

Entry was gained to a transit van parked on Elmdon Place when a passenger window was smashed. Nothing was reported as stolen. crime reference 37/23179/20.

A vehicle parked on Feltwell Place was broken into by smashing the driver’s side rear window. Tools were removed. Crime reference 37/23240/20.
