Haverhill men arrested in Wratting Road on suspicion of multiple offences released under investigation

LEARN MORETwo men who were arrested after a suspected stolen vehicle was stopped in Haverhill have been released under investigation.
Officers had cause to request the driver of a black Range Rover to stop in Wratting Road at approximately 3.20pm yesterday.
After conducting a search of the car, police seized weapons, drugs and cash.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and possession of an offensive weapon.
A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, driving whilst disqualified, possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
The pair were taken to Bury St Edmunds police investigation centre for questioning, and have subsequently been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
