Homophobic and racially aggravated incident in Haverhill's Camps Road, which saw group of young people hurl insults at two men, investigated by police

Two men were the target of a homophobic and racially aggravated incident in Haverhill last week.
At around 4.15pm on Friday December 17 in Camps Road, a man and his partner, another man, were leaving the library together.
A group of four or five young people started shouting racist and homophobic insults at them.
This caused the men to become alarmed and distressed.
Police are investigating the incident and urge any potential witnesses to come forward.
