People taken to hospital after two-vehicle crash on A1307, near Haverhill




Ememrgency services took two people to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on the Suffolk-Cambridgeshire border at the weekend.

The collision was on the A1307, near Haverhill, after 4.30pm on Saturday.

Emergency services, including three ambulances, a paramedic car, Cambridgeshire Police and firefighters were called to the scene.

A car was found on its side in a ditch.

Firefighters helped to stabilise the car and rescued a passenger, who was then left in the care of the paramedics.

Ambulance staff treated three people and two were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.

There were delays in the area and drivers were advised to find alternative routes.

The incident was cleared just before 5.45pm.
