Vehicle seized and Traffic Offence Report issued in Haverhill after uninsured driver spotted without headlights on




A car has been seized in a Suffolk town after an uninsured driver was spotted by police without headlights on.

A spokesperson for Sudbury and Haverhill Police said they spotted a vehicle being driven without headlights in darkness in Haverhill and an officer stopped the car to find out the driver’s details and to offer advice.

The driver was found to have no driving licence, no insurance and the vehicle was linked to drug dealing with drug paraphernalia found inside.

A Traffic Offence Report (TOR) was issued, the vehicle was seized and the driver was reported to court for driving otherwise in accordance with a driving licence, no insurance and headlights not lit in darkness.

The driver was also breath tested which came back negative.
