Woman taken to hospital with serious leg injury after crash between motorbike and car in Haverhill

A woman has been taken to hospital with a serious leg injury following a crash between a motorbike and a car.

Police were called by the ambulance service at 4.22pm on Wednesday to the collision in Hamlet Road, Haverhill.

Three ambulances, a paramedic car, and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene following reports of an injured motorcyclist.

A woman with a serious leg injury was then transported to Addenbrooke's Hospital by road ambulance.
