Collision on the A14 westbound at Copdock, southwest of Ipswich, caused minor injuries




An A14 lane is now clear after three vans collided this morning, causing minor injuries and four miles of congestion.

Police were called to the incident on the A14 westbound at Copdock, southwest of Ipswich, at 7.35am.

At least one person was injured, though no serious injuries were caused.

The A14 between junction 55 at Copdock and junction 56 at Wherstead was blocked for a short time, with the vehicles moved out of the way by 8.15am

The road had to be closed again just after 9am to allow one van to be recovered, which was completed by 9.20am. The lane was fully clear by 10.15am.
