A14 reopens in both directions between Wherstead and Nacton, near Ipswich, after police attend incident




Part of the A14 has reopened in both directions after police attended an incident.

Officers had been called just before 10.30am with the major route closed in both directions between Wherstead and Nacton, near Ipswich.

Road blocks were installed at about 10.40am and motorists had been advised to avoid the area.

The AA traffic map had reported long queues on the A14.

A Suffolk Police spokesperson said the route was reopened at 11.30am.
