Suffolk police are appealing for witnesses after a road rage and public order incident on the A14 near the Orwell Bridge in Ipswich.

The incident happened between 4.40pm and 4.50pm last Wednesday heading westbound between the Nacton slip road (junction 47) and the Wherstead slip road (junction 56).

A left-hand drive, green Volkswagen Transporter entered the A14 at junction 57.

Following an attempted lane manoeuvre, the driver of the Transporter was involved in an exchange with the driver of a silver Volkswagen Golf.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the manner of driving, or who has information that could help their investigation.

They are also keen to hear from motorists who were in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage.
