Arrest made following Ipswich machete attack

A man has been arrested following an incident in which a 16-year-old boy was attacked with a machete in Ipswich.
The incident happened in the Newnham Court area of town at around 6pm last Wednesday.
The 16-year-old boy suffered arm injuries during the attack and was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.
He was then taken to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital for further treatment to the arm injuries.
A man in his 40s was arrested on Saturday and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre.
He was subsequently released on police bail pending further investigations until April 22.
