Bag and purse stolen from woman's Volvo at Ipswich's Felixstowe Road Sainsbury's as she unloaded her shopping

An elderly woman's bag and purse were stolen from her car after she unloaded her shopping at an Ipswich supermarket car park this week.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the theft, which happened at about 10.40am on Wednesday, when a woman in her 70s was shopping in Sainsbury's on Felixstowe Road.

After unloading her shopping into her blue Volvo, she returned her trolley to the trolley bay, and in that time a wicker bag containing her purse was stolen from her car by an unknown person.
