Bill Bailey joins cast of Griff Rhys Jones' Happy Christmas Ipswich at Regent Theatre
Comedian Bill Bailey will join Adam Buxton and Tiff Stevenson as special guests at a star-studded Christmas show in Suffolk.
Featuring other famous faces including impressionist Jon Culshaw and Milton Jones, Griff Rhys Jones' Happy Christmas Ipswich returns to the Regent Theatre on December 5 for its third year.
The show will help raise funds for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH), and raised £92,000 last year.
This year’s show is set to open with a dance number from Ipswich’s Emma Dodd School of Performing Arts and is sponsored by Colchester-based The New Homes Group.
Other confirmed guests include Blackadder producer John Lloyd, Only Fools and Horses actor Phil Pope and his band, alongside comedians Geoff Norcott, Deborah Francis-White and Rory McGrath.
Andy Hamilton and Richard Herring also made the bill.
Mr Rhys Jones said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to confirm these three talented people can join our star-studded cast.
“We now have three more major stars to add to our impressive roster for the big night.
“For me, this year’s event promises to be our best-ever show. It’ll be another fantastic evening and one that will hopefully live long in the memory.”
