Teenager and 49-year-old man arrested after county lines drug raid at house in St Helen's Street, Ipswich




A 16-year-old boy was among those arrested during a drug raid at an Ipswich house today.

Officers from the South Scorpion team, which tackles county lines drug dealing, and Ipswich Central Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out a warrant at a property in St Helen's Street at 10am.

Class A drugs worth £1,500 and around £1,000 in cash were seized at the house.

The teenager and a 49-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs and money laundering.

They have been taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
