Boy hands schoolbag over to thieves near Landseer Park in Ipswich

A boy fearing for his safety handed his schoolbag over to thieves in Ipswich.

The incident happened on April 11 at around 1.30pm when the teenage boy and a friend were walking in the Sandyhill Lane area of Landseer Park when they were approached by a group of youths.

The victim at first refused to hand over his bag but did after he was pushed as he was worried for his safety.

It follows similar incidents in the park over recent weeks.
