Boy taken to hospital with minor cuts and bruising after collision with van in Argyle Street, Ipswich




A boy has been taken to hospital with minor cuts and bruising following a collision involving a van.

Officers were called to Woodbridge Road just before 8.45am today after reports of a crash at the junction with Argyle Street, Ipswich.

The child suffered injuries which were initially thought to be serious and was taken to Ipswich Hospital by land ambulance for treatment.

There, it was confirmed he suffered bruising and minor cuts.

Argyle Street is still closed for investigation.

Witnesses to the collision or anyone who has dash cam footage is asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team on 101, quoting CAD 47 of May 14.
