Captain

Captain is an eight-year-old indoor cat who was found as an injured stray with a few bumps and scrapes.

He has healed up really well and, after initially being worried by his new surroundings, he is now starting to show his loving character with people.

A blood test showed Captain has FIV which means he must be kept indoors so as to stop the spread.

He is looking for a quiet home where he has space and time to settle in and become confident.

Missy and Gandi

Mother and son duo Missy and Gandi came into RSPCA care when their owner was no longer able to care for them.

They are slowly but surely showing the staff signs of wanting affection, and while Gandi can still be quite hissy when you approach him, once he has had a little sniff he likes a fuss.

The pair are seven and five and need a quiet home where they can relax and settle in.

Nightmare

Nightmare came into care when her owners couldn't look after her, and was at first very defensive and unhappy, but since getting to know staff she is showing more affection.

The eight-year-old cat has shown some behaviours consisting of guarding when it comes to her scratching post and the back of her pen which is where she enjoys to spend her alone time.

Staff hope that with more space she will feel less inclined to guard her spaces.

Nightmare can be really affectionate and enjoys a good fuss – but on her own terms.

Figaro

Two-year-old Figaro came into the centre after he was abandoned.

He was at first unsure of his human carers, but since settling in now loves a fuss and attention, but can get a little over the top if he is over stimulated!

Figaro would be best suited in a home who has had experience with cats and due to being unpredictable when first here staff feel he would be best suited to a home with teenagers or adults.

Tinkles

Tinkles came into RSPCA care after his previous owner could no longer care for him.

He is a friendly and sweet natured cat who enjoys exploring and napping, as well as a fuss from human companions.

Tinkles does have a sensitive stomach so is on a sensitive diet which can be purchased from the centre. He also has a sensitive ear which would need to be monitored at home.

Smudge

Smudge came into care after being found as an injured stray.

He is a quiet, timid cat who likes his own company and enjoys the comforts and security of his igloo bed.

Smudge has tested positive for FIV which means he must live indoors so it is not spread.

Staff are hoping that once Smudge is in the right environment and lots of TLC, he will come around to enjoy a fuss and company from his human companions.

Timmy

Timmy was brought to the RSPCA when his owner died.

This five-year-old cat was scared and worried when he came into the centre but with time and patience he is now starting to show his loving side.

Timmy did live with a couple of other cats but staff have seen his character and general attitude improving since letting him be a lone cat.

Timone

This little kitten Timone arrived at the centre after his previous owners were unable to care for him.

When he arrived he spent a few days hiding away but he now loves a fuss and attention and enjoys human company.

Benji was taken to the centre when his previous owner died. He would show signs of wanting to trust people but found the environment difficult so was put in a foster home.

Since being with his foster family, Benji is really starting to show his true character. He now demands fuss and loves to be around his human companions.

Benji would need time to settle into his new home but staff said it would be worth the wait.

Mr Magic

Mr Magic came into the RSPCA after being brought in by an inspector.

At first, Mr Magic was very happy to socialise with us from a distance but has recently shown that he does enjoy a fuss.

His favourite things in life is somewhere soft to nap and yummy treats.

He is looking for a patient owner with space to allow him to become his own character.

Because of his temperament, Mr Magic is looking for a home with teenagers plus and no other animals. Mr Magic is also not used to going outside so would like a quiet area where he can get used to outside life.

Jessica

Jessica came into care after being brought in via an inspector.

In the cattery it was clear that Jessica was unhappy and would avoid staff, but within 24 hours in her foster home she was starting to accept a fuss from her foster family.

She is used to being an indoor cat so is looking for somewhere more on the quiet side where she can get used to being outside safely.
