Cars stopped by police in Ipswich and Stonham Aspal, near Stowmarket, yesterday

Three cars were stopped in Suffolk yesterday for speeding and lack of insurance.

Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team tweeted yesterday that one car had been stopped for driving 52mph in a 30mph area, and two cars had been stopped for no insurance.

The speeding offence took place on the A1120 through Stonham Aspal, near Stowmarket.

A silver BMW was stopped and seized in Ipswich for lack of insurance, and a silver Vauxhall Corsa was also taken for lack of insurance and unpaid vehicle tax.
