Cigarettes worth £2,500 stolen from Volkswagen Crafter van parked at Ipswich Lidl supermarket on Handford Road




A van parked at an Ipswich supermarket was broken into and cigarettes worth £2,500 were stolen from inside, police have said as they appeal for witnesses.

The blue Volkswagen Crafter van was parked at Lidl supermarket on Handford Road on Monday, when it was broken into some time between 3.30pm and 4pm.

A large quantity of cigarettes, worth about £2,500, were then stolen from the vehicle.

Anyone who saw what happened, or who was driving in the car park at the time who has a dashcam in their vehicle, is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting reference 36470/21.
