Serdar Kadiu and Algerd Farruku jailed after drug stop in Ipswich
Two cocaine and cannabis dealers have been jailed after drugs, phones and cash were seized in Ipswich.
Serdar Kadiu, 22, and Algerd Farruku, 27, appeared before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday for sentencing, having both pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.
On February 17, officers stopped a Volvo V40 in Civic Drive, the court heard.
When stopped, the pair gave false names, which was uncovered after they were identified through their fingerprints.
Both were then detained and taken into custody, where searches found concealed grip bags containing cocaine – four on each man.
Also seized were a total of £414.50 in cash and three iPhones.
In addition, Kadiu was in possession of a set of keys leading to a property in St Helen’s Street, where a large amount of cannabis and cocaine were found, plus £100 in cash, digital scales and seal bags.
Kadiu, of St Helen’s Street, Ipswich, will spend three years for dealing cocaine plus an additional nine month concurrent sentence for supplying cannabis.
Farruku, of Brompton Road, Leicester, was jailed for two years and six months for cocaine supply, plus an additional six months for cannabis dealing, to be served concurrently.
