Murder investigation into woman's death at Ipswich flat dropped after post mortem suggests natural causes




The death of a woman whose body was discovered in an Ipswich flat this week is no longer being treated as suspicious.

A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday after police and paramedics found a woman, aged in her 60s, dead in a Foundry Lane flat.

He was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning but has now been released without charge.

A Home Office post mortem examination was undertaken last night and suggested that the woman died of natural causes.
